Book #8: gallimaufry

This book was editioned in January of 2012 in Portland, OR — if ever there were a hodgepodge, a jumble or a confused medley it would be the intricate knot of time and place. Fate, which may be defined as ‘something that unavoidably befalls a person’, is not something I have ever subscribed to. I have found it difficult to place faith in coincidence and happenstance, however, this new year has challenged my perception of time and place and my own position within those spaces.

It is difficult to understand new feelings of certainty and connection to events as they unfold—as it challenges a strongly held ‘come what may’ attitude about living.
