This book was editioned in July of 2011 in Portland, OR — it is currently 1:51AM (PST) and throughout the United States there are office windows, doorways and parking lots illuminated by bulbs that glow green, yellow, orange, red and sometimes blue. This illumination is as common as it is confounding. I find it hard to understand what it is we want to see or reveal to one another and I can’t help feeling as though I’m passing through a corridor of night-lights left on by grown children—a force of habit underpinned by fear and confusion.
